Continuation of the Royal status
Once a company has obtained the Royal status, it will not be automatically continued forever.  The status is granted for a period of 25 years, for which the company must be committed to the requirements that are laid down. After a period of 25 years the company must show that it still deserves the status before the title is prolonged. Brinkman who are a leading horticultural supplier, have been examined and evaluated extensively and according to the judgment of Her Majesty the Queen, Brinkman have been granted the continuation of the Royal status.

Ceremony
In presence of Brinkman’s shareholders, board of supervisors and board of directors, Mayor Mr. J. van der Tak awarded Brinkman the continuation of the Royal status on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen for another 25 years. Brinkman is the only company in the municipality of Westland which has obtained and continued the Royal status.

Mayor Mr. J. van der Tak: “It is not easy to obtain the Royal status, and even more difficult to continue to keep it after 25 years. The status shows that Royal Brinkman is performing in business correctly,  impeccably and that Brinkman deserves a triple-A status”.
