Production, Construction and import of many materials are under Brinkman’s own control so even supplies of sundries can be ‘made to measure’. A few examples include wire mesh, steamsheets and capilary matting. The last of these, the Klavermat capilary matting, is made from new material so that the structure of the mat is uniform with the optimum capilary action.
Specialist support materials are made in house. A wide variety of bamboo and moss sticks are imported and all sizes are available from stock. Windbreaks and shade mesh are available in different types and sizes. String is of excellent quality.
For insulation several materials, for example polystrene, are supplied for rood, pipe, cold store and soiil insulation. Accurate weighing is of great interest. Mechnical and also modern electronic scales are inclused in the product range. To improve the ‘climate’a variety of excellent polythenes are produced. These include clear,, anti-fogging (anti-condensation), black, white and black and white.
In addiciton there is a bubble film and aluminium coated polythene for insulation. Shading compounds are held in stock and the same goes for working clothes and safety equipment.
